Window tinting is about the same price as sunscreens
If you bought sunscreens you’d be looking at about $4/sqft for the screens. With window film, you will spend roughly the same price– depending on what color or thickness you go with.
Window film lasts a whole lot longer
Window film is made to last, in fact ours comes with a lifetime warranty. If you were thinking sunscreens were going to be the way to go, you have to realize that they will probably be completely sun-rotted in about 8 years. You will have to throw them away or pay to have them re-screened if you want them to look nice, continue to keep bugs out, or be the right color. That’s of course assuming that you enjoyed cleaning them every 6 months and didn’t lose any to a monsoon storm. You wouldn’t believe how many customers tell us that they chase their screens down their Chandler streets trying to keep their investments, and hoping the frames don’t get bent as they are bouncing down the road.
Window film is more efficient
You can cut out more of the sun’s heat rays by using window film like a pair of sunglasses. You don’t have to worry about UV rays getting into your home and fading everything. You don’t have to worry as much about the infrared rays coming in to just add heat. Film chooses which spectrums are allowed to come inside and sends the others back out into the heat. All of this without having any obstruction to your view. If you read the APS study, you’ll see that window tint is more efficient than all others!
Which Window Tint is Right For You?
There are lots of different window films out there. Lots. But it doesn’t have to be a very hard decision. In fact, one of our most efficient films is one of our least expensive films, which as you can imagine– translates to over 80% of our sales. If you are looking for a security film, you’ll want something a little thicker (and maybe even clear), if you are looking for a film that helps you to be able to see through your windows at night, you’ll want to look at a different kind of film. If you like really vibrant colors, you might be interested in a designer film that either has a pattern printed on it, or maybe something that is blue, or gold, or red!
